Changes to De San Diego à Paris + Upcoming Blog Posts

I hope everyone is having a great day so far. As you can see the blog got a little makeover. Well actually it got a full facelift. I've gone back in time and edited all 115 blog posts just to make sure that everything is cohesive. I spent a good day and a half working on the blog so I hope you all enjoy the changes.

Also another change is our email address. The blog's email address is now desandiegoaparis@gmail.com. Feel free to email me at any time and I will do my best to reply immediately.

If you follow me on Twitter you know that I was fortunate enough to have helped out at the study abroad orientation at SDSU back in April. I was the representative for France and Paris (of course) and I got to help out the students there. I have to say the orientation was a mess so knowing that I went in trying to give students the advice I wish I would have gotten. The student response was great! I got thanked by several students after speaking in the study abroad study panel. Volunteering in the orientation also got me thinking about upcoming blog posts.

This is a list of upcoming blog posts:
  • Airport Arrival
  • How I found Housing
  • Housing in Paris
  • Au Pair
  • Financing
  • Banks
  • More Safety Issues
  • Travel
  • More cultural differences
  • Dating customs
  • University setting
  • Cultural Adjustment
  • Packing
If you have any more suggestions please let me know. My goal is to make this the best website as possible for those who are going to Paris.

If you're going abroad in the Fall Semester you need to make your appointment to get your visa ASAP! Don't wait till the last minute. I have a whole section on getting your visa in the blog so make sure you look back through the old blog posts because you might find what you're looking for.

    1. I'm not going abroad, well at least not for a couple of years. I studied abroad in Paris in 2011-2012 but I'm still running my page to help students. :)
