I hope everyone is having a great day so far. As you can see the blog got a little makeover. Well actually it got a full facelift. I've gone back in time and edited all 115 blog posts just to make sure that everything is cohesive. I spent a good day and a half working on the blog so I hope you all enjoy the changes.

Quick update- Google Reader and Bloglovin link
With the whole Google Reader shutting down and everything, I just wanted to share that the blog is on Bloglovin if you're into the whole "reading multiple blogs from a reader" thing. If you want to read more about what's going on with Google Reader I suggest you read this article.
Here's the link: Follow De San Diego à Paris with Bloglovin
If you want another recommendation for a decent reader, I personally recommend Feedly on the iPad.
I'll see you guys very soon with a decent blog post.

Chaque jour en France // Every day in France
I just wanted to share this video with about what happens in France each day. Find out how many cigarettes are smoked, how many baguettes are eaten, how much Nutella is consumed, and how many tourists got to the Eiffel Tower in a typical day in France. This is a good video for those of you learning French and want some practice listening to numbers in French.
Hope you enjoy the video! // J'espère que cette video vous fera plaisir ! :)

Just wanted to let you know just in case you click the FB fan page links and they're not working. All the blog posts are still there, it's just the URL that's different.
French Skin Care
It's no secret that France has some of the world's best skin care products. Everyone from fashion magazines to beauty bloggers rave about French skin care and before I even set a foot in Paris I knew I had to try as many products as I could during my year abroad. Before I share my recommendations I would like to make it clear that I am not a dermatologist. The products I will be talking about worked for me, but they may not work on you. Another disclaimer, I have oily/acne prone skin so if you have dry skin then these things are probably not going to work on your skin because they will most likely make your skin dryer. Now that you've heard the disclaimers let's get to the skin care products!
Where are the daily vlogs?
If you follow me on Twitter or like my blog on Facebook you may know that I got really sick on Thursday and was unable to edit the Disneyland vlog. On Friday once I was feeling better I tried to edit it but my computer has fallen victim to another French virus right before finals. Just my luck... But don't worry, I'm still recording my vlogs just in case Orlando is able to fix my computer or in the worst case scenario, I will have to wait until I get back to San Diego.
I'm extremely sorry for this and I'm working hard to see if anything can be done. There will be text posts coming up soon though, now that I CAN do.

Food Recommendations
I'm definitely a fan of food recommendations and sharing what I've eaten so if you're a member of any of these following websites feel free to follow me or look at the places I recommend.
By the way, Marseille is beautiful. I'm loving it so far.
England here I come!
Again I'm very sorry for the lack of posts this month but I just finished up the semester last night and today I spent the majority of my day inside the comfort of my own bed catching up on my sleep. Tomorrow will be the first time that I'll be leaving Paris and going back to an English speaking country but no I won't be going back to the States for the Holidays, I'll be going to l'Angleterre or England! It's going to feel a tad odd being in an English speaking country when I've been hearing nothing but French for the past 4 months already. The two cities I'll be visiting are Manchester and London which I'm extremely excited about despite already knowing that its going to be even colder than in Paris. I plan to record some footage from the trip and my birthday (December 19th) which I will edit and upload it as a vlog when I come back.
I will be back in the bloggerverse on December 23rd, right before Christmas! I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!

Inpirational quote
“If you’re twenty-two, physically fit, hungry to learn and be better, I urge you to travel— as far and as widely as possible. Sleep on floors if you have to. Find out how other people live and eat and cook. Learn from them— wherever you go.”
-Anthony Bourdain
Time to layer up!
I'm finally getting the chance to use the Blogger app on my Android phone since I'm bored in school and my next class starts in 50 minutes. So the weather is starting to change slowly but surely. Right now Paris feels like how San Diego feels like in it's coldest months which in reality is not too bad but I'm certainly not used to cold weather.
I do like cold weather so I won't be one of those people complaining about the cold every single day but I do think that I might have to start wearing more layers because I'm starting to get really cold.
I need some chocolate Abuelita to make hot chocolate and maybe that coat I have been eying at Zara. Excuses, excuses...

Tips and thoughts about France from an 18 year-old Laura
Today I spent the majority of the day cleaning out the other half of my room with my mom and throwing out even more old school work. One of the papers I found was a questionnaire that my high school French teacher made my classmates and I fill out about our trip to France, the following are my responses. Keep in mind I was 18 years-old and didn't know as much about France as I do now.
